100% Whole Grain Wheat Bread
I will never try this again. I have not checked my 'brand new' yeast further, but the bread refused to rise. I wasted all that flour and other ingredients to have a non-risen bunch of bread. I'll never not proof the yeast first. Also, it's possible the water - which called for HOT, was too hot and killed the yeast. Also, the recipe also doesn't tell you specifically to use the mixer, until later down in the steps. I DIDN'T use a mixer, and should have read the recipe in detail before diving in. I realize. Perhaps I can just feed the crows a healthy snack. But this ruined my day.
