I can’t figure out what I did wrong. I made half the recipe, as written,, but it ended up like lumpy mashed potatoes, the dumplings (I got eight out of half the recipe) looked okay through the end of boiling, but then kind of melted into lumpy mashed potatoes, as if there’d been no flour, farina, or egg, Please advise—my husband’s family is Czech, and I so wanted to surprise him with these!!
