I made these cookies, and they tasted quite good. But the texture was wrong and all of the cookies flattened during baking. If anyone has an idea where I went wrong, I'd love to know. I know the measurements were accurate, and the oven temp was accurate. The flours and sugar were fresh (just bought them the week before), but all other ingredients were what I had in my fridge or pantry. I included the optional ingredients of raisins and nuts. Is it possible something was beyond their freshness date and that caused them to not rise properly during baking? - Northwestgal, 5/12/26
