Sauce? 41 posts and everyone except 4 used the word sauce. The 4 used the word gravy, which was the word my brain wanted to use when reading this blog. Please, I’m not saying ‘sauce’ is wrong or negative in anyway. I’m just curious as to why. It’s I because the author used the word sauce, thus promoting posters to follow suite? It’s not a North/South thing, as I’ve lived in both and it wasn’t a thing. Is it an ingredient thing? One poster said she and corn starch, I think it was, to make a gravy. So to her, gravy has a specific texture/viscosity/ingredient to qualify as gravy. Is it possibly an American/European thing? Sauce…gravy…sauce…gravy. I will never get a good night sleep again. This has me questioning the nature of existence.
