My Mom born in 1926 (and who passed on in 2020) and had abt. 80 yrs. of old fashioned, down home, fromm scratch cooking experience!!! She was a surperb cook and baker, and could make this without a recipe as she did most of the things she baked or cooked. She also made the BEST caramel icing too! She ALWAYS used a stainless steel tablespoon and an aluminum 1.5 quart saucepan, NEVER a wooden spoon. Also, just the ingredients in the recipe above, NO powdered sugar, marshmallow cream, sweetened condensed milk, or chocolate chips!!! This way makes the BEST fudge. Same way for her caramel icing absolutely NO powdered sugar. She ALSO NEVER USED A CANDY THERMOMETER RELYING ONLY ON HER EXPERTISE AND SKILL!!! And it certainly never took 30 minutes for the fudge to get to the soft ball stage! A CA

Well don’t they just look beautiful. I doubled the recipe and make 16 large muffins. For the double recipe I used one cup Greek plain yogurt one cup protein almond milk. I also added cinnamon right into the batter. For the first I added partially strawberries as well. I could hardly wait till they cool to taste them !!!
