Our family’s favorite waffle. A couple of key notes. We warm the milk up so it’s not super cold. Helps prevent lumps. We mix that into the dry ingredients. Then we add the egg yolks. Butter goes in third. Found if we add butter or egg yolks to dry mix before the milk it gets lumpy. Hope that helps as the recipe is great for yummy and slightly crispy waffles.
Thanks so much for your reply on my last question - now I have another question! I'm wondering if I could use honey instesad of the maple syrup on this recipe? If so, would I also use 1/4 Cup? Thanks so much!
