My family recipe goes back over 200 years. One thing that should be done is the meat should be boiled, hand broken and dropped into the water raw. If you don't cook the chili for over three hours it's not the real deal. If you use a food processor then what ever you did is not right. Also the Greek version or the recipe I have from my great great grandmother who was from Cincinnati and started making it for locals during the snow storms back in the mid 1800s, did not use chocolate. That was done by people trying to copy my families perfect recipe. Not a bad copy but there is nothing like the original.
