This was a really wonderful side dish. The fact that it used real unprocessed potatoes put it over the top. It is so cheesy and yummy. There is a bay leaf required not listed in the ingredients so be aware of that. We left out the green chilis due to personal preference. This was addictive. It is a lot of calories and fat so it will be an every once in awhile dish but it is so delish. Thanks for posting your mom’s recipe. We will make again & again. Enjoy! ChefDLH
