When I added the melted butter to the milk it solidified is that ok or should I warm the milk next time?

This was really good. I used 1/2 tsp of salt and coconut oil. I always put the oil and 3 kernels in first. When that pops i put in the rest and stir until it's done. This was so good. There was a good bit that didn't pop but that was my fault as I was afraid of burning the sugar.
