If I sub the white flour with golden wheat flour can I sub the sugar with honey?

I skipped the lemon juice and curry and replaced one can of cream of mushroom soup with a can of spicy Buffalo cream of chicken soup! Added some garlic and green onion. Served with pasta and everyone loved it!
