What if i do put a crust on top? Most friut filling pies do. Will that mess up the pie? I had already done it when i saw it say not to. But thisnis my first pie PERIOD! So i guess trial and error

These cookies were so delicious! When preparing the dough, I used (added), WATKTNS Root Beer Concentrate which is clear and doesn't have a color in the root beer extract. Also, when baking the cookies, I reduced the oven temperature to 350°F., and kept an eye on the cookies while they were baking. I find when baking cookies at 375 degrees, they have a tendency to get too dark. At least in my oven they do.
