Bacardi Rum Cake
I've learned to leave the cake in the pan and prick the bottom with a wooden skewer. Pour the glaze over the cake while still warm in the pan. Wait till the cake has soaked up all the glaze then turn out onto a serving plate. A lot easier and you don't lose any of the glaze! It gets soaked up and makes the cake tasty and mushee and easy to cut. This gets the glaze completed saturated with all the glaze goodness. I also serve with cream whipped up with a couple teaspoons of dark rum. Dark rum makes the greatest flavor for this recipe.

I used home made kraut. My mother-in-law showed me how to make kraut while I was in Germany. Also cut my kielbasa on a bias for visual appeal. Then I used low and slow method on the stove top. when you make your own kraut, you can make it as "sauer" as you want!
