I need to make several batches, I'd like to freeze and then use. Do I put the sauce on before freezing or let the cakes thaw, warm up a bit in microwave and then add sauce? The cake needs to be warm when adding the sauce, right?

A Delish recipe. Didn’t use flour or wine. Still v good.
