Why does it taste so good.

I just made this after running out of the store bought vanilla syrup. It tastes amazing! Have not mixed it with coffee yet, but tried it over a spoonful of ice cream and it is perfect. I did adjust the sugars a bit (a little less brown sugar and a little more white sugar) and added a splash of almond extract. I was afraid it might be too carmel tasting with that much brown sugar. I think next time I will add the full amount of brown per the recipe. Thanks for sharing such a yummy recipe! I'll be sure to stock up on vanilla because I think I am done with the store bought stuff!!
