Our 54 Most-Comforting Casserole Recipes

Followed this recipe but omitted the spinach. It was delicious and my kids loved it! Served it with some Italian breaded chicken. New family favorite!!

This really isn't a question, more of a statement. I think through the years people have forgotten that little zing you got when you bit into the cookie. I went through a lot of recipe until I found what was missing. Try adding just a pinch of fine ground black pepper. I'm not being factious, it is really good. Don't add to much (don't want it hot). Now whenever I make ginger cookies I add just a small pinch, it really is crazy gooe.

Decided to try this recipe on the day after Christmas ham…WOW! Love it! Only thing I did differently was to sauté the carrots, onions and celery in butter with the thyme before adding to the peas. Ingredients and times are all spot on! Thanks Uncle!
