Made this soup today for lunch and it was really yummy. I had everything on hand and needed to use up some ham and potatoes. I added carrots; otherwise made according to recipe instructions. Will make again.

For Trobinson1469: Step 1 of the directions tells you, but I think 7 ours is too long, I think 5 would be the maximum. Unless your crock is small.
