food.com is not permitting me to post replies to reviews. This is a comment on loutler's review. If the rolls fell when you touched a brush to them, they were very badly overrisen. it isn't always easy to see when a yeast dough has doubled. A 10 inch ball is twice the volume of an 8 inch ball, but that's not necessarily clear when you set them side by side. Anyway, the failure here is in technique and not in the recipe.

I've been making this since I was a kid! Got the original recipe from a family friend, but lost it in a move. I was ECSTATIC to find the recipe here! This makes awesome gifts and is so delicious on a PBJ, or on a freshly baked biscuit with butter! Very easy recipe to make, very inexpensive, and has a huge ''Wow!'' factor!
