For those of you who surrounded the roast with potatoes and sweet potatoes, do you put them in for the same amount of time, start to finish, with the meat? If so, I imagine its best to leave the veg chunks about 1.5 inches thick?

The only suggestion I have is to, grease and put parchment paper in the pans so it’s easier to remove the cake when it’s done.
