Pineapple Cake Filling
I only had pineapple slices. I placed them in the blender and got cream, Ugh. Next deviation: I added the microwave melted butter to the entire thing BEFORE beating continuously on the range. I beat and whisked and whipped non stop until I got that non-milky, glossy look. Not wanting to wait hours for it to cool, I placed it in the freezer for an hour two hours after it had cooled down enough so as not to melt the contents I’m the freezer. An hour later, I placed the glob that emerged on the stove for a quick minute stirring ferociously and it returned to that perfect pudding consistency. ****It was delicious.**** I will lessen the amount of sugar I use next time. The sugar overpowered the pineapple more than necessary, in my opinion . Like art, there are no mistakes. It’s al gusto, yk? I didn’t care for the chalky taste of the cornstarch, quite distracting, but meringues tend to taste like rotten eggs, to me, so between the two, this beat that. I’m going to try this with other fresh fruit and canned fruit cocktail as well. Any recommendations to lessen the chalky cornstarch taste? I’m all eyes! Thank you

Tried this a couple of weeks ago and almost forgot to review it! Sorry Mirj! My shower drain was draining very slowly and this did the trick! Now the shower is draining as it should be and I did not use any caustic products! Thanks Mirj! Popping back over to add: It's now July 2025 and I still use this mixture for slow drains, kitchen sink, laundry room sink and bathroom tub and sink.
