I make this every Year for the past 5 years and it is wonderful, the only change's I make is that I cook everything except the canned beans, I add them while everything is cooked and give it 5 minutes more, I then water bath this for half an hour, I just opened a jar from 2 years ago this week and it is excellent, I do add a teaspoon of citric acid before processing.

Hi , Is this greasy at all? When you bake it in the oven, there's always some form of grease obviously because it's ground beef. But I'm wondering because it's in a slow cooker maybe it's not as much? Ty :-)
